Abstract

This article presents a series of feelings and thoughts that seek to make visible the historical erasure of women by patriarchal Christianity, in order to reconfigure their presence as theological subjects in Christian praxis. To this end, it attempts to describe the intimate relationship between colonial epistemologies and patriarchal religious imaginaries that promote gender inequalities and violate women, preventing them from accessing religious spaces of power, which have been monopolized by men. The reflections presented throughout the article allow us to propose a series of methodological guidelines for constructing a theology with gender equity, which, in turn, leads to a solidary commitment to a pastoral practice that equitably and actively involves women.
