Vida y Pensamiento is a biannual journal of the Latin American Biblical University (Editorial Sebila). Its articles are the product of research by UBL teachers and related institutions. Each issue focuses on a central theme from the various disciplines and contexts of institutional work. We publish two issues each year, in July and December (July-November: closes November 30; and December-June: closes June 30). Submissions are received until April 1 for the July issue and until September 1 for the December issue. The approximate time for receiving a decision on an article is 3 months.

Its objective is to disseminate the research and promote academic reflection related to the biblical, theological, pastoral and related disciplines, in dialogue with the contemporary reality of Latin America.

Each issue of the journal is thematic. In its articles a variety of topics are developed in Theology, Bible, Pastoral, Gender, Environment, Christian Education, among others.

This is an open access journal. It is addressed nationally and internationally, to students, church leaders, people who work in NGOs, professionals in the areas of psychology, sociology, education and all those people who are interested in inquiring about our issues.

As part of our publication policies we have that all contributions must be unpublished works and sent according to the “instructions for authors” that are detailed at the end of the journal. The Editorial Committee and the arbitrators that it designates will decide on the publication of the works presented through a peer review process using the "double blind" system, in which none of the participante knows the identity of the others.
