Elogio del hambre
Hablar de Dios desde el vacío
Abstract
This work here presented sets forth (considers) an intertextual reading of the Hebrew Bible particularly focusing on the wisdom literature. The reading follows the thread (idea) of eating as a metaphor for the acquisition of wisdom. The metaphor allows us to reflect about the means or the attitude by which the believer is tied to (connected with) the knowledge of God. Thus a relationship is established between daily foods, which leave many people without adequate nutrition and a daily “theology” which creates a devouring (ravenous) discourse about God.
Thus, having the appearance of theology, this hides an idolatry that strips the believer of an authentic contact with the Word of God in its history.
