Del deseo y otros demonios: las pasiones insurrectas en “la” religión Occidental.
Una (re)lectura de la neurosis en Freud
Abstract
This paper explores the analytical category neurosis within Freud’s works in which he theoretically constructs the relationship between religion and neurosis.
We are interested in identifying fundamental elements of the theory of neurosis that were not incorporated by Freud in his studies of religious structures. Finally, we will suggest some analysis criteria in order to provide more appropriate and proactive research concerning religious dynamics within society.
