Iglesia y misión Reflexionando con Mackay en el camino desde Edimburgo 1910 a Edimburgo 2010
Abstract
The centenary celebration of the World Missionary Conference held in Edinburg in 1910 provides us with an opportunity to explore the relationship between church and mission during these onehundred years from the perspective of churches in Latin America. John A. Mackay helps us reflect into two ways.
Mackay was an active participant in the processes that began in the Edinburgh conference and led to the conformation of the conciliar ecumenical movement.
On the other hand, Mackay’s vision of the Church Universal as a worldwide missionary community provides criteria for evaluating the life and missionary actions of churches today.
