Hijas de la misma madre: religión y poesía
Un motivo, un ejemplo y dos argumentos en favor del uso de los poemas en la enseñanza religiosa
Abstract
In the classes of religious education in Germany there are many young people who don´t practice any type of religion any more and who ignore the Christian tradition nearly completely. It has become very dificult to introduce them into the biblical tradition. The elaborated texts of the academic theologians don´t help very much. Most of them are difficult to understand und very abstract.
That´s why the author proposes to use poems in the classes of religious education.
She points out some similarities between religion and poetry as well as differences between the languages of academic theology and poetry. Finally she points out that the open and fragmentaric caracter of modern poetry could help young people to express their feelings and to reflect them in the light of the Christian tradition.
