Algunas raíces teológicas e históricas de la iconoclasia protestante y pentecostal
Abstract
Algunas de las convicciones y prácticas pentecostales tienen su fundamento en tradiciones bíblicas y protestantes, aunque con frecuencia no somos conscientes de ello. Esto es especialmente válido respecto a las actitudes iconoclastitas en relación a las imágenes religiosas y los lugares para celebrar el culto. Las primeras son completamente rechazadas y los segundos erigidos con estricta austeridad. Nuestra intención es señalar sucintamente algunas raíces bíblicas e históricas que motivan estas disposiciones.
