Abstract
La reflexión sobre los y las pobres ha sido punto central en la teología latinoamericana y en específico en la cristología latinoamericana, desde sus inicios. A partir de la década de los años 80 se hizo necesario especificar los diferentes rostros de la pobreza.
Tamez señala que los y las pobres tienen rostros concretos y que “la pobreza trasciende a lo económico” (2000, 101).
