Abstract

The article questions the political decisions that are taken from a domain ethic about creation. From a biblical perspective, nature is regarded as sacred, allowing us to think of another way of living life. The experience of God allows a new relationship with nature and with the entire cosmos. The Spirit that sustains the cosmos is also in us. Our spirituality must contemplate nature as a whole, where we are not excluded, but we are part of it. An ecological theology is proposed that destroys the dominating and destructive thought that today causes so much damage to our planet.
