Entre el terror y la esperanza: apuntes sobre la religión, la guerra y la paz
Abstract
En su análisis sobre la participación de las instituciones religiosas en el debate sobre las normas que deben regir en una sociedad moderna, Casanova acentúa su aspecto positivo y prometedor: la preocupación por la ética social, por la promoción de la humanidad. Toda auténtica tradición religiosa insiste en el res- peto a lo sagrado, la solidaridad humana y el cultivo de la naturaleza.
Se puede, sin duda alguna, encontrar en las escrituras canónicas tenebrosas imágenes de exclusión y violencia contra el infiel y el impuro.
