Abstract
No cabe duda que la “globalización" es la idea rectora de nuestros tiempos: orienta tanto la política económica como la política social. Que la globalización define el futuro deseado por todos, es la nueva "sabiduría convencional". Así es según Octavio lanni -sociólogo y filósofo brasileño-, que la globalización es, en realidad, una metáfora por una serie de cambios sociohistóricos que representan diferentes dimensiones o visiones de un solo proceso de mundializacíón.
