The subversive anamnesis
Critical outline of prosperity theology
Abstract
Some elements of the socio-economic crisis that arise from the globalization strategy and the conformation of the capitalism-religion hybrid are considered. It analyzes how this becomes in certain movements of political-religious dye that have as a transversal axis to the theology of prosperity. It is argued that, in such narratives, the breaking point comprising the subversive memory of Jesus the Christ is betrayed. Finally, this anamnesis is updated against idols and ideologies of the system: prophetic atheism, the pneumatological community and critical-theological voices in the public sphere.
