Theological epistemology and limits of knowledge
Brief considerations regarding theological language and practical theology
Abstract
This article is a reflection on theological epistemology, its relationship with the language of theology and its link with practical theology. From the beginning it is established that referring to some kind of theological epistemology is possible, as long as it is kept in mind that the realities that theology seeks to speak about are conceived as elusive to understanding, and they are shown hiding, as occurs in mystical theology. On a practical level, this reality of theology and theological language must be taken into consideration when thinking of our neighbor (the other) as a concrete manifestation of the Mystery of God.
