Paul Tillich y la dimensión religiosa del arte
Abstract
Para Paul Tillich (m. 1965), el arte -especialmente la pintura y la arquitectura- eran una fuente primaria para el quehacer teológico. Una vez comentó, “Yo siempre aprendí más de las pinturas que de los libros teológicos” (Tillich 1987, 151). John Dillenberger (1967, xxvi), uno de los principales intérpretes de Tillich, afirma que, “De todos los teólogos de nuestro siglo [XX], solo él fijó la agenda del papel de los artes en el trabajo teológico”.
