Hay que humanizar la pandemia
Abstract
The news of having been infected with AIDS has a fulminating psychological impact not only in the person directly affected, but also in his or her family. Moral principles, family prejudices and various kinds of fears suddenly arise. Given the fundamental role of our human environment (be it one of solidarity or not) in the medical evolution of the affected person, the treatment must be holistic. Two cases are presented in which guidelines are suggested for an adecuate accompanimient of such situations, at both the professional and family level.
