Una aproximación a las familias indígenas andinas de Bolivia
Abstract
This article analyzes the migration of Indigenous families to the cities and the way in which this impacts their culture. Their early entrance into the labor market functions as a type of rite of passage that fulfills a “civilizing” role, especially for those who pass through domestic or military service, both of which are based on relationships of domination, servility and dependence.
