2026-02-12

The Teología Práctica Latinoamericana Journal invites researchers, professors, advanced students, pastoral agents, and individuals connected to faith communities and faith-based organizations to submit scholarly articles for its next issue, dedicated to the theme: “Theological Work from Grassroots Pastoral Practice in Latin America.” We are particularly interested in receiving papers that analyze, systematize, or problematize grassroots pastoral experiences; formation processes in seminaries, faculties, and centers of theological training; community accompaniment initiatives; practices of incarnate spirituality; and proposals that critically articulate faith and social transformation.

Current Issue

Vol. 5 No. 1 (2026): Christian praxis in a heremeneutical key: Liberating pastoral experiences in Latin America

The title of this issue not only reflects a programmatic statement of theological and pastoral hermeneutics, but is also an urgent call to strengthen critical and productive reflection on the most pressing challenges of Latin American and Caribbean theological work. Practical theology, built upon critical reflection on the realities of our peoples and cultures, cannot be limited to being an abstract hermeneutical discipline, but must continue to embrace the commitment to constructing theological knowledge that transforms adverse realities.
